Who we are

In winter 2022, Sarah and Jason were traveling the length of New Zealand in search of a new place to work and settle down in. With no suitable offers in sight, they found themselves back in Central Otago.

After almost two decades of manufacturing experience between them, they were sure that they wanted to start their own venture in the food processing space.

Then came their current roles. Both ended up working for businesses in the local horticulture industry. It wasn’t long before they noticed how much of the fruit grown in the area doesn’t make it to the consumer. Worse, it ends up as compost due to their imperfections.

Not wanting to waste perfectly good fruit, they decided to freeze dry small batches in an attempt to preserve the best of Central Otago summers. Will this venture work out for them? Follow along to find out!
